Reaching or leaving Genoa by sea by yacht, ferry or cruiser liner involves sailing in the old port under the historic centre of the town
The area spreads over 240.000 square metres of yards and docks for over 3.000 ml developed on 15 berths used both for ferries and cruisers, according to their technical characteristics.
There are five Passenger Terminals, three are set up for ferries: Calata Chiappella Terminal, Ponte Caracciolo and Ponte Colombo, while the other two are for cruisers: the Ponte dei Mille Harbour Station and the Ponte Andrea Doria Harbour Station. These are of high security level terminals equipped with boarding gangplanks.
