Genova walking tour: the historical centre and Strada Nuova, UNESCO World Heritage.
Come and discover the glamour of the old city. Let us guide you along the thick “caruggi” (little lanes) of the widest medieval historical centre in Europe, looking for its manifold curiosities, its various misteries and secrets and admiring its architectural beauties, representend by the Palazzi Rolli, included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Browse around inside the numerous ultra centenarian shops and boutiques of the old town, together with our expert guides ..... Let us guide you discovering the first urban settlement of the city (Castrum) dating back to the Romans and Etrurians’ age. Wander along the lanes of the “rive gauche”, the very old part of the city, cut in two by Via S. Lorenzo (the magnificent lane which takes you to the cathedral).

Timetable of the visits:
- Saturdays, h. 10.00 a.m.: guided tour Italian and English language
- Saturdays, h. 14.30 p.m.: guided tour Italian and Spanish language
- Sundays, h 10.00 a.m.: guided tour Italian and French language
- Sundays, h 10.00 a.m.: guided tour English and German language

Starting point: IAT tourist office in Piazza Caricamento (Porto Antico area).

Tickets:
- Full price: € 12,00
- Children up to 12 years: free
- Young people 12/18 anni, over 65, Museum Card holders: € 10,00
- Press: € 8,00
- Groups: please contact our offices. (the ticket includes also the visit to the Museums of Strada Nuova; cost of the museums tickets would be 9€).

Tickets are sold at the Visitor Centre in Via Garibaldi (ph. 0105572903/751) and at the IAT tourist office in piazza Caricamento (Tourist information kiosk, ph. +39 01074200/74202).

8 bus stops: Piazza Fontane Marose, Piazza De Ferrari, Via Diaz (Piazza della Vittoria), Piazza G.Verdi (Brignole railway station), Via XX Settembre, Via Balbi (Principe railway station), Ponte dei Mille (cruise terminal).

We inform you that the service is not available during the winter time. It has been stopped at the end of October and it will start again the 22nd of march 2013.
