From 2 April 2012 a daily tourist tax will be applied to visitors’ overnight stay in Genoa, depending on the type of accommodation:
5-star hotels = € 3 per person/per night
4-star hotels = € 2 per person/per night
all other accommodation = € 1 per person/per night
