There are various ways to move around Genoa using Public Transport.
The service is run by AMT and ticket offices are located in via Bobbio 250r, via D’Annunzio 8, via Reti 15. Tickets are sold at news-stands, at tobacconists’ and in many other shops.
The standard fare is € 1,50: with a single standard ticket passengers can also travel through the town by railway, for 100 mins after stamping the ticket. There is also a 24h ticket (€ 4,50) which allows to travel in the whole city.
A booklet of discount tickets, as well as weekly, monthly and yearly cards are available so that it is possible to save money on the price of public transport.

AMTalso runs other services such as lifts and funiculars to go from the city centre up to the panoramic hills just in a few minutes.

NaveBus is the new boat service, run by Amt, which links Pegli to Caricamento and allows to reach the city centre in about 30 minutes.
