They were, and still are, places were people would meet and talk while doing their shopping or just enjoy a meal and a glass of wine…
Sottoripa: friggitoria, a “fried food” shop…. real street food, Genoese style…
Vico Caprettari : a beautiful barber shop in liberty style, property of the Italian National Trust
Via Giustiniani : Sa Pesta, an ancient “sciamadda” where they prepare traditional oven cooked vegetable pies, chick peas “farinata”, stuffed anchovies and much more.
